Cultural Arts
FAES holds the belief that research and advanced education flourish best in a broad intellectual climate, and therefore encourages and sponsors nonscientific programs of interest to the scientific community. The Chamber Music Series, initiated in 1968, presents young performers, as well as internationally renowned artists. The Chamber Music Series of FAES is in its 39th season, with a wonderful schedule of renowned performers and dazzling young artists of promise.
Some of the musicians featured include, pianist Richard Goode, the Divertimento String Trio, violist Kim Kashkashian, and many more!
The Sunday afternoon concerts are held at Congregation Beth El on Old Georgetown Road. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.
